Pablo’s narratives take shape through the repetition and chaotic recombination of elements, advancing at a pace beyond the narrator’s control, leaving him perpetually disoriented by what unfolds.
When you are dreaming and suddenly wake up, the effects of a dream often linger in your waking life. Entire scenes may surface, or scattered fragments, but you will never know for certain how that dream truly unfolded. This collection seeks to reflect what happens when we try to remember what took place in the oneiric state, to piece together what was happening.
The use of lenticular material on the back cover alludes to an image that struggles to reveal itself, while we can never be entirely certain which of the two is the true one
Likewise, the book’s opening, closing, and navigational elements are deliberately disordered and scattered throughout the publication, even the barcode.
The book itself becomes that dream, which, like Pablo’s narratives, is absurd, unpredictable, and nonsensical. Constantly inviting the reader to reconstruct it as it truly is.
